"One of These Things..."

Remember...
          The old Sesame Street song...
Designed to teach kids...
To distinguish between different types of things?

Ya know...three squares and a circle...three spoons and a knife...three quarters and a dime...get it.

WELL, ONE OF THESE THINGS IS NOT LIKE THE OTHERS!!

WHEN IT COMES TO VOTING!!

Think about it!
Or, better yet, research it!

Until we rendezvous...

Peace!!

  1. Mr. D – In lieu of research, I speak from a personal experience platform. In doing so, I’m hoping other readers will do the same allowing for an apples to apples comparison - allowing each of us to determine for ourselves if everyone is the same or perhaps “one of these things is not like the other” relative to voting. Following is a summary of my overall voting experiences over 52 years as a black voter: Limited accessibility to voting stations; Lack of resources devoted to enhance voting experience; ambiguous ID requirements; impossible wait times at voting locations; severely scaled back “early voting” opportunities; erroneously advertised ballot mail-in/drop off points; shortened hours for polling locations due to limited personnel………. I could go on, but this paints the picture adequately. It is understood that every vote counts equally, but I’m curious to know if we all have equal access to voting. Keep up the good work Mr. D.

  2. Bunnyfort, thanks again for your brilliant insight and wisdom. I always learn something from your comments. I'm curious though...do you think white women vote more like black women or white men?

BTW...Ms. "Engineer," don't be "scurred!" LOL

  3. From my perspective.....If influenced by the white men in their space....like white men. When not under that influence.....like black women.
